If you are a current ASU student enrolled at least half time (six credits per semester for undergraduate students or five credits per semester for graduate students), your student loans are automatically deferred until you graduate, unless you drop below half-time enrollment status.
If you were on an automatic payment plan prior to the student loan repayment pause, you must contact your servicer and opt back in to the automatic payment plan. Not sure who your servicer is? Go to StudentAid.gov, find your account dashboard and scroll down to the “My Loan Servicers” section. You can also call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-433-3243.
