Arizona State University's Financial Aid and Scholarship Services team needs more information from you so that we can review your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

According to the U.S. Department of Education, the Social Security Number for your Parent 1, as reported on your FAFSA, could not be confirmed with the Social Security Administration.

To resolve this issue, you'll need to log into your FAFSA and verify the information is correct.

If you believe that the SSN for Parent 1 is correct, then your parent will need to contact the Social Security Administration (SSA) to receive help with the issue by calling them at 1-800-772-1213 or by visiting the SSA website.

If the SSN for Parent 1 is incorrect, replace it with the correct SSN (Question 60).

If Parent 1 does not have an SSN, correct Question 60 by entering all zeroes (000-00-0000) and confirm by re-entering the zeroes.

Then, submit your FAFSA correction with the appropriate required signatures from both student and parent.

Once we receive your updated information from FAFSA, we can being processing your federal student aid file.
