Purpose

When completing the 2025-2026 FAFSA, you reported that you did not and will not file a 2023 IRS Form 1040 or 1040-NR and selected “The parent did not and will not file a U.S. tax for reasons other than low income.” This form is used to collect and confirm earnings made during the 2023 tax year.
