If you're a Federal Pell Grant recipient with all financial aid verification documents submitted and are enrolled in fall 2025 sessions A and C, you can charge your textbooks to your student account at the Sun Devil Campus Stores, online or in person. Eligible students will receive an ASU email each semester with instructions.

To be considered for the Obama Scholars Program, students must submit all requested financial aid verification documents. This applies to both incoming first-year students and current participants. Meeting criteria and deadlines does not guarantee placement, as funding is limited and the program closes when funds are exhausted. There are no exceptions to these dates, so please submit documents early to address any issues.
Confirm your ASU housing by June 1 to finalize your assignment by Aug. 1. If not finalized by then, your budget will change to off-campus or at-home, and your scholarship will be reduced. Visit the University Housing page for more information.

Submit your FAFSA before ASU's priority filing date each year to increase your chances of receiving more federal aid. Students who apply by this date are more likely to get need-based aid. Tuition and fees are non-refundable thereafter and students are required to pay all tuition and fees for drops and withdrawals after this date.
