New American University Scholarships recognize outstanding academic achievement and help make an ASU education more affordable. Eligible students are automatically considered for these merit-based scholarships when they apply for admission.
Who is eligible for a New American University Scholarship?
Nonresident transfer students with a minimum 3.00 cumulative transfer GPA who enroll full time in a campus-based undergraduate degree program.
Arizona resident transfer students are not eligible for New American University Scholarships. Resident transfer students may be considered for the Transfer Achievement Grant instead.
How much is a nonresident transfer New American University Scholarship?
New American University Scholarship award amounts vary based on academic credentials. See the following chart to get an idea of what you might qualify for. Amounts shown are estimates.

Keeping your scholarship
Nonresident transfer merit scholarship recipients are eligible for a total of four consecutive semesters, fall and spring, toward completion of your first undergraduate degree, provided you meet the renewal criteria by the end of each spring semester.
