ASU has extended the 2025-2026 FAFSA priority date from Jan. 15 to Feb. 1. Eligible students who apply by this date have a greater chance of receiving need-based aid. Financial Aid and Scholarship Services will begin applying your spring 2025 (sessions A and C) financial aid to your spring charges starting January 8. Check your disbursement status in the Financial Aid Tracker and if it reads "Disbursement," you do not need to take any action. If your status shows anything other than "Disbursement," check Priority Tasks to ensure there is no information needed from you.
Most deadlines for the 2025-2026 year occur between January 1 and March 1. It is important that you review deadlines carefully as they do vary. Scholarship awards are very competitive and if you are selected, you will be notified by the awarding office noted in the scholarship listing. Scholarship recipients are typically notified of selection in April and May. For more information, visit the scholarship search page.
If you are attending ASU for summer 2025. you must submit 2024-2025 Student Budget Reviews, Student Income Reduction Reviews and Parent Reviews along with all required documentation by this date in order for a reevaluation of the FAFSA and awards to occur.
If you are attending ASU for Summer 2025 and you would like to make changes or accept your loan, you must submit 2024-2025 Student Aid Adjustment form by this date.
If you are attending ASU for Summer 2025 and your parent would like to make changes or accept the Parent PLUS loan, you must submit the 2023-2024 Parent PLUS Loan Action form by this date.
At 5 p.m. (Arizona time), any loans that are not accepted will not be eligible for disbursement in the fall term. If you are enrolled in the spring term at least half time and have not used all of your annual loan eligibility for the academic year, you may be eligible to receive Federal Direct Loans in the spring term. Remaining loan eligibility for the spring term is determined by your current grade level, dependency status and cost of attendance.
