Submit your FAFSA before ASU's priority date, Jan. 15, each year to increase your chances of receiving need-based aid. Even if this date has passed, you can still submit your FAFSA. For more details, visit the FAFSA information page.
Starting Jan. 6, spring 2026 (sessions A and C) financial aid will be applied to your spring charges. Check your status in the Financial Aid Tracker on My ASU. If it reads "Disbursement," you do not need to take any action. If your status shows anything other than "Disbursement," check your Priority Tasks to ensure there is no information or action items needed from you.
Most 2025–2026 deadlines fall between Jan. 1 and March 1. Review these as they vary. Scholarships are competitive, and if chosen, the awarding office will notify you. Typically, notifications are sent in April and May. For more details, visit the ASU scholarship page.
If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient, this is the last day you can charge books to your student account.
Loans not accepted by 5 p.m. (Arizona time) won't be disbursed in the fall semester. If you're enrolled at least half-time in the spring semester and haven't used all your annual loan eligibility, you may get Federal Direct Loans in the spring. Your remaining loan eligibility for the spring is based on your grade level, dependency status and cost of attendance.
If you are attending ASU for only the fall 2025 semester and your parent would like to make changes or accept the Parent PLUS Loan, you must submit the 2025–2026 Parent PLUS Loan Action Form by this date.
If you are attending ASU for only the fall 2025 semester and you would like to make changes or accept your loan, you must submit the 2025–2026 Student Aid Adjustment form by this date.
If you're a Federal Pell Grant recipient with all financial aid verification documents submitted and enrolled in spring 2026 sessions A and C, you can charge your textbooks to your student account at the Sun Devil Campus Stores, online or in person. Eligible students will receive an ASU email each semester with instructions.

If you are attending ASU for only the fall 2025 semester, you must submit 2025–2026 Student Budget Reviews, Student Income Reduction Reviews and Parent Reviews along with all required documentation by this date in order for a reevaluation of the FAFSA and scholarships to occur.
To appeal any fall 2025 SAP violation, submit your Satisfactory Academic Progress Review form before this date. Late submissions will only be considered for next semester's eligibility. For more information, visit the Satisfactory Academic Progress page.
